When I was first reading Dracula, I had difficulty getting into it. Once I switched over to an audiobook, I was obsessed. I loved the formatting, places, and how everything ties together. There are many quotes that have stuck with me. The most notable being when Johnathan first meets the count at his castle. "Welcome to my home. Come freely, go safely, and leave behind a bit the happiness you bring!" Dracula is my favorite classic horror book, and I have two Dracula bracelets that I wear on each wrist. I have a Dracula figurine but I really want to get the NECA Dracula figure since he comes with more accessories and is articulated.

The crow is by far my favorite graphic novel of all time. Every page has been meticulously hand drawn by the author, James O'Barr. The story of the crow started with the pain, anger, and grief that O'barr was coping with after his fiancé died from a drunk driver. It's not easy to deal with those emotions. and it's even harder to turn it into an entire world as he has. In the special edition book, there's beautiful poetry, illustrations and a beautiful introduction by O'Barr. Theres so many little details that make me love this book even more. How the main character, Eric, was inspired by peter murphy of Bauhaus, how his eyes are different colors, how much eric loves dancing and his cat, Gabriel.
